When should brides do their hair and makeup trial ?
A trial is when we meet to discuss your special requests and any ideas for how you wish to look on your big day. This should be whenever you are happy to do it , personally we like to do it early on after your initial booking so that your mind is put at rest, you know exactly what you are getting and how you will look ! ………Together we will try out colours and textures and decide upon the perfect look for you.
Our clients are normally comfortable with the way they look, but usually want to ‘enhance it’ rather than alter it. They are aiming for natural long-lasting radiance which will last throughout the day.
At the trial we will talk about the colour of your gown, your flowers, your hairstyle, headdress, and veil.
We will also talk about the time of year and the time of day your wedding will take place. All these things are vitally important to achieve the look you desire and give you the photos of dreams.
Next your hair will be styled and makeup applied and once you are completely happy with what you see, every detail will be photographed and noted. This is to ensure that the wedding day “look” is exactly the same as the trial, allowing you to be confident and relaxed on your wedding day.
How long does bridal make up last?
With the correct primers and high-end brands used your makeup will last all day and throughout the evening. Only on the hottest of days or the steamiest of nights will your makeup need re-touching. We give you useful advice on the best skincare products and procedures during your trial and you will receive a Teary Touch-up bag from Caroline containing a plethora of beauty bits to take with you on your wedding day journey for little emergencies.

Why do I need a professional makeup artist or hairdresser as my friend says she can do it ?
Because photos are a very important part of your wedding, expert attention to your hair and makeup is essential to make you look fabulous on your special day.
We know weddings are expensive, but the one thing to remember is that your face and hair will be a lasting image in your photos and video.
Even though your best friend or store beauty-consultant appears capable, they may not have the experience necessary in photographic makeup and hairdressing to achieve the best look. For your confidence and peace of mind, you need to use a professional.
I don’t want my makeup to look too heavy !

My hair is short can you put it up?

Definitely ! We are experts in all styles and can easily imitate a look and make your own personal variation. Bring your ideas to the trial along with your hair accessories and veil .
What products do you use ?
All the top brands that you have seen in the latest magazines are available, including Charlotte Tilbury, Nars, Chanel, Dior, Laura Mercier,to name a few.
Alternatively, if you are more comfortable with your own tried and tested products, we are very willing to incorporate them in your vision but in our way .
Can you recreate something I’ve seen in a magazine ?
Definitely ! We are experts in all styles and can easily imitate a look and make your own personal variation. Bring your ideas to the trial.
How long does a trial take?
At Amazing Face we allow 1 1/2 hours for hair and same for makeup at your trial so 3 hours in total but generally within reason until you are completely happy with your look.
What’s our favourite style
Truthfully, we don’t have a favourite, but we do like to create a natural classic radiant look for our brides it’s really about them and what they want to create we just help them along with nothing being too much trouble, we really can do it all and have been doing so now for 15 years.
