A perfect setting for a perfect day, Minterne is an enchanting location for your wedding, offering a range of rooms for your Civil Marriage Ceremony, Wedding Reception or both. Exchange your marriage vows in The Trafalgar Hall with its magnificent barrel vaulted ceilings, or The Garden Room overlooking the south front lawns. Both are licenced to hold Civil Ceremonies, accommodating between 50 and 150 guests. Sample canapés & champagne with Minterne’s quintessential English landscape providing a stunning backdrop for a Spring or Summer wedding reception, with a marquee near the house for larger numbers. Host a winter wedding with an intimate candle-lit reception, with drinks by a roaring log fire in the Trafalgar Hall making your wedding day unforgettable.

After just 2 months as Head Gardener at Minterne, we are thrilled to announce the discovery of a rare 'lost' species of a 100-year old Rhododendron beanianum.
